Are we afraid of the next gen Mustang????

That's what tilt wheel is for.
Only you R/C could make that reasoning...

That cranium room, is a real killer...
especially if your over 5' 8"s, not everyone is a munchkin...

But they have/make some nice stangs, bang for the buck,
but I'll still take/prefer the Hellcat, even if it is a heavier car...

I'm sure budget & price point is a stickler too,
stangs are seemingly everywhere & cheaper...

I've said it since the inception of the New Challengers
IMO they need to offer a stripped down model,
{I know they have a Drag Pak, that not what I'm talking about}
kind of like the org. 68' Roadrunner a true road car, youth oriented,
was offered in it's early conception, affordable somewhat less amenities/frills...
Especially for the performance purist among US that want a performer,
more than just all the bells & whistles every electronic gadget,
power windows, power seats, Nav system, A/C {albeit it's nice}
"in the proverbial book"

Lighten it up wouldn't hurt the performance or handling aspects,
after all it's all about power to weight ratios...
Some Carbon fiber, more aluminum vs heavy cast iron or steel
or even fiberglass, even some titanium stuff...

It's got a "Hemi"

I don't think we need to be afraid just knowledgeable...

I say:
Be afraid....
FORD just dominated 2016 24 hours of LeMans
FORD BEAT-UP Dodge Daytona in 1969 and dominated NASCAR
FORD won the 1968 Winternationals (Lil Ol' 68 Cobra Jet)
FORD has introduced "Flat Plane Crank" technology
It took FORD to build the 2007 GT500 and prod Chrysler to build the Blown Hemi Challenger
(I had two 2007 Shelby GT500s, now I have one with only 200 miles on it)
But with out competition, we become complacent.
So; In my opinion, Competition is needed and FORD is a worthy opponent.

You can all HATE FORD, I personally do not care...
Hell, I'm 63 in December, I have heard it all, but FORD is NOT the enemy.
The enemy is "The Mother Whore General Motors"

OK, back to the topic; I'm confused, do you need more headroom in a Mustang or a Challenger? I'm 6'-0" & there is plenty of room in my Challenger.

Been in both. The S550 Mustang roofline is admittedly gorgeous, but clearing the weatherstripping is a concussion hazard. Ditto with the back door on a Charger.

I don't agree with all these {gay} guys say but pretty accurate assessment

Afraid? Or just dont care? I vote not giving a ****. New cars Do nothing for me.

Competition is a great thing. Just imagine the crap that would be availible if there was only one car manufacturer.

I love the new stuff
But i have 14 Old timers too
Yeah Habib, cruising to AZ at 80 mph with sirrius radio, AC full blast and quiet is an OK thing too...
It depends on what you "need"
But, I love my 70 Superbee with the old 1970 426 Hemi too

What scares me is you can buy a monster Mustang for just under 40k ( not this one ) but I just read an article where a dealer is putting out HP Mustangs for reasonable money.......not that I have $40,000 to spend on a car
