Yup! And when you got bored with the cap gun, you 'borrowed' Dad's hammer and smashed a whole roll at a time on the sidewalk, BOOM!

more stuff that went "bang " its all banned in Australia ( we might hurt ourselves :BangHead: )

man I loved cracker night

we had Malvern stars dragsters , who remembers almost losing your nuts on the gear shifter

I had one like that, but mine was red with a smaller tire in the front, same sissy bar and all.

Yep remember the 2 track cassette & 4 track cassette/tapes too
I had a bunch of tapes, got it for my 9th or 10th B-day 1968-69
Doors, Animals, Herman Hermits, Beach Boys, Jan & Dean etc.
that craze didn't last long,
the 8 tracks & eventually reversible double sided cassette
decks/players/recorders were all the rage...

How many drove one of these? 85 ChiTribs and SunTimes on Sunday was a load.

I still have the old glove but was never a Cubs fan. It's held up pretty good. A couple 16" Clinchers somewhere around here too.
