Back in the day

A&W was the place to go for hot meals, hot cars ,hot girls, and was the face book of the day,to get information, like where the parties were, where the next street drags were, and anything else important to us teenagers, and also getting full service by putting on you lights and a nice girl in uniform would take order and bring your food to your car on a tray and place it on your side window!!!MEMORIES
Remember the A & W pizza burger?

Some people trim down (get rid of their stuff) as they get old. Not me I am bulking up lol. These kids will earn every cent. Would love to see their faces when they have to deal with all my junk!
That's fine if they know the real value of the "stuff" or intend to keep and use it. If they don't know the value of the "stuff" and sell it you could be making a pot of gold for some stranger.

Yep and I will be too dead to care lol. Might be someone's lucky day. To quote a favorite comedian of mine "Well I don't know where I will be in 100 years. But I'll bet I wont smell very good"

George Carlin on Stuff
seems fitting for back in the day

Yep he fits right in this post. Reminds me of a friend (car guy of coarse) He gets up set if I refer to my things as junk. He said If it were junk you would throw it out, it's STUFF lol.

My youngest fell over my tow chains that I towed the Bee to drags in middle 70's. Put his nose right in to the open top. Blood everywhere, he ripped off the velcro straps that were holding him down in the ER. 2-3yrs old at the time,he doesn't remember a thing, but I do.

Dayton was a test market for a lot of stuff.

Some went main stream, some didn't.

(I wonder who pics test market cities)

We got modern can tops in the early 70's, but I remember pull tabs.

I remember visiting my Aunt in FL in '76 and they still had pull tabs.
