First off i have a 1967 Dodge Coronet.... I am looking to buy a quality original type Mopar battery that fit the Battery holder base...... Using original type battery hold-downs.

Who sells such battery?

I have not been able to pin down a good source yet.

Thanks in-advance!

I'd sooner vote Democrat than pay almost $400 tor a freaking battery lol...
I feel your pain. It has been tires and batteries for the last couple of years. Not too mention oil changes. Takes about 6, 24 qt. cases to change oil in the ones that get driven on a regular basis. No I don't do Vintage Mopar Batteries in all of them, just the show worthy cars. Drivers just need to crank.

The battery's the cheap part... :luvplace:

Too bad they don't make those "kits" with some sort of 3D shaded decals, as the lettering was never coloured to match the caps.

Certainly a great way to clean up an off the shelf battery though! Shipping from Belgium could be timely these days, as it's taking a month to 6 weeks for stuff to ship within NAmerica by even Priorty Mail / Xpress Post.

Yep. Not OEM original but better than a Wal Mart "Never Start" sticker. LOL

I just sprung for the red top battery from Year One. In a 1967 GTX.

Don't forget to add the acid before you put it in the car. It will hurt the paint!
