bb identify

ok mopar nuts i have a78 doba with bb supposed to br a 74 440 out of a imperial but it has points it is a bb but cant find any markings in front intake on drivers side or near dist how do i figure out what i have thanks pics wood be way cool thnaks alan

If it's a LB it will have a machined pad in front of the passenger's head below the distributor. If it's a RB there will be a machined pad between the center and left hand bolts that retain the front of the valley pan. The cubic inch will be stamped on this pad. Look again. There will also be casting numbers on the side of the block that will tell you what it is.
