Besides your car's what else are you into?

I used to love slot car racing as a kid. During the winters we used to go to different friends basements and race. A few year ago when my son was young I tried to get him involved. That did not work so well since I was competing with video games, but while doing that I tried to fill a gap I had seen for parties that was not available in this area or seen like this. TableTopRaceParties was born.

Are you saying you started what's shown in the video? If so cool ;)

Doesn't leave much extra cash for the car then, does it?

I also play with vintage Arctic Cat snowmobiles;did a complete rebuild of a 1974 El Tigre 340 a few years ago:

THIS is what I did for over 3 decades;have seriously thought about either trying to re-acquire "Isabella"(this bike) or an older Evo-engined Road King or -Glide(FX) chassis bike.

I've also dabbled in the model car and model train scene in years past. Loved the dynamic aspect of the HO trains;you could build a nice kit and then watch it move. Got out of it because 1)no place to set up a decent layout and 2)got tired of seeing everything come from China.

This is one of the best threads I've read. I really enjoy reading about some of the common, or diverse, interests of the members besides the commonality of our Mopars !

Building gaming rigs,
Sounds funny at my age,
But my niece got me into it years ago,
Very relaxing

I was invited to do that at short notice by the Track manager to check the concrete pad which was undergoing maintenance. :)

This was a small effort in my truck just after it arrived from the US...

Me I'm into Old School audio equipment. Cassette, Reel to Reel and Vinyl. Loved music before I could talk. Did not have the talent to play anything other than my stereo LOL! I also like dirt track racing, as a spectator, and spending time with the grand child

How about you?
Thomas

I just picked up a vintage Sansui receiver AND a Marrantz unit!

Thanks Bud, definitely a lot of fun. The overdrive 4 speed is awesome on the highway and has a short 1st that punches pretty good, that was an old video before paint, powdercoated grille, etc. Fun times lighting up tires with my buddies

And hopefully that one will be soon, my foot gets heavier every day I'm not able to drive it lol
