Tought to choose between those three, actually.

Photography, drifting, big into nutrition, and some video games here and there. Used to ride bmx and dirt jumping, along with power lifting but I tore my rotator cuff when I was 15 and haven't touched either since my surgery. (19 now).

Speaking of drifting...

I do R/C offroad truck racing. I also paint them. I race in the stock truck class, mod core truck class, and the mini class. In the summer we race outside on the dirt and in the winter it's inside on carpet. Here are some pics and I painted all of them.

holy crapola!!! you guys race those things indoor?? how big is the shop??? lol

a few friends and I used to race them on my driveway and inside my garage, but they were 1/36" scale. Li-po batteries, high winding motors, suspension mods. and we had a timing system hooked up in that piece of pvc. it would connect to a laptop and track the times.

Hey Big Block....on the R/C truck thing...do you have any input on the hobby king r/c truck...I bought two team associated T4.1 trucks for my son and me thinking they would be good...but every time we run them they break and I know it driver error ...I dont want to spend a ton of money again. thanks

If you want to go that route I'd get him the Traxxas Slash. It's a very durable truck and great for beginners. They also make replacement parts for them when they do break. How old is your son? A T4 is a bit advanced for a small child but they do make replacement parts for them as well. Not to sound condescending but you do understand that these things are the next step up from toys. They are considered hobby grade and they are made for racing.

That trophy is great! lol Yes we race them indoors on special carpet made for racing on. The track is 50' x 80' with jumps and hazards. The club I'm in rents a hall every Thursday for the races. I'm sure there are probably a few around you as well. The trucks are 1/10th scale and the minis are 1/16th scale. Yea you will definitely learn how to drive on one of these tracks. from the sound of it you have the same things we have. I have personal transponders in all of my vehicles for the timing loop and the average time for a lap is about 19 sec.

Steam locomotives! This is NKP 765. She "lives" about 25 miles north of me. Every year the owners have a weekend where the public can get into the cab of of her and for about $100.00 "drive" her about 200 feet! 6000 horsepower out of four cylinders ain't too shabby but when you weigh 850,000 pounds you NEED 6000HP!!!

I live in a small town north of Toronto with the attraction of a live operating steam train that operates weekends spring to fall.

I'd really like to start playing with R/C planes if I could find some friends around where I live.
