Best "cheap" car cover???

What works the best for storing a car in a shop that sees bondo dust and some primer over spray? Old bed sheets, plastic? Just trying to find something not as expensive as a good car cover, but will do the job. Any ideas?

Car cover @ Costco $29.00 its water proof, then painters plastic from home depot under the cover !
