Was not aware that the factory leaf springs have a bias from left to right to account for torque, my springs appear to be the same from left to right. Learn something new everyday.

So the question, now knowing this, should i setup my leaf springs with the factory bias or would a symmetrical (lefts on both sides) setup be better?

My car is primarily a crusier, 340, but i am boosting the horse power and torque up from the original factory settings and should be near the 350hp range and i will not be drag racinig. Would i get better handling with symmetrical setup over bias setup? Whats the primary reason for using symmetrical over bias setup?

Please let me know if you have experience with this topic.

the reasoning behind that is to counteract the large amount of torque generated by big blocks.since you have a small block you dont really need to worry about it.overall handling will be ever so slightly better running the same springs on both sides.not really a huge difference, more of a longevity thing.

This was only done on cars with hemi suspension.
