Can someone help me out with the Bilstein part number a 1969 charger? Front shocks only. Is it 55-R082?
Yes, they are the best bang for your buck. Buy once, cry once.10% discount for members. And yes, they are good!
KYB Gas Adjust are good enough for the money. How do you justify that for 2 shocks? Are they that good for $312?
Bilstein doesn't make classic Mopar shocks. A company called RCD Classics buys them from Bilstein and re-engineered them to work.

Looks like they are priced very similar as well.Another nice option are the Koni 80 1538 Classic Shock..
Available from Amazon.
IMHO.. Koni and Bilstein are the best available shocks for our Mopar B bodies..

Yup..KYB Gas Adjust are good enough for the money.
I did go a little cheaper on the rears with KYB’s but wound up doing Bilsteins in the front. So many people seem to have positive feedback on the Bilsteins that so had to give them a try.Yup..
KYB, Monroe, Gabriel shocks are much cheaper..
Spending the $$ just depends upon the handling and quality of ride one expects...
