Can someone help me out with the Bilstein part number a 1969 charger? Front shocks only. Is it 55-R082?

How do you justify that for 2 shocks? Are they that good for $312?

Ok this is strange. Didn’t understand why Jegs or Summit didn’t have that Bilstein part. I called Bilstein and they said that part number is discontinued so if I am finding 55-R082 somewhere that is stock that won’t be replenished. He said they no longer will make that shock. Found another thread with contact info from Mark with PST. Gonna give him a call to ask more about this as they clearly have them on their website.

Bilstein doesn't make classic Mopar shocks. A company called RCD Classics buys them from Bilstein and re-engineered them to work.

Ahh ok.

Another nice option are the Koni 80 1538 Classic Shock..
Available from Amazon.
IMHO.. Koni and Bilstein are the best available shocks for our Mopar B bodies..

Just my $0.02..
