Does anyone have an experience with bonspeed wheels?

I looking for custom wheels. Also saw Budnik and Forgeline.

I've looked at them, I'd say they are probably the most open to customization options. No clue what price is like and I read someone that had a bad review on the Protouring forum. His rims showed up fairly pitted and rough.

Forgeline and Budnik are both top shelf with price tags to match.

Just saw your brake bracket post. If it's a Hammer clone you are looking for their wheels were Kinesis three-piece forged wheels

i like kinesis wheels but the ones i wanted were 1 grand a piece........WOW.

The wheels on the Hammer are Kinesis 19x12 (K19) and 18x10 (K18). I've searched on the net and can't find a link of Kinesis. They used to be a European company but I think it was sold to a US company.

I think i have to rephrase myself on the Hammer clone thing. It's going to be a Hammerish clone... ;)

I know Bonspeed makes a Race10 wheel that looks like the K19/K18.

I'm looking for mopar owners and there experience with Bonspeed...

I hear what you're saying and it's funny I can't find Kinesis either. I looked at them a few months ago and was scared off by the price as well.

this is the most I can offer to help you with Bonspeed.

The only help I can offer with Bonspeed is I believe you can get a discount as a member at http://www.pro-touring.com/ PM a member called Bonspeedbrad

Check out Billet specialties Pro-touring and Concave Pro-touring selections. If there's anything you like there I'd be happy to pass on my contact that I used

I do! I bought mine from Brad there during a 4 for the price of three sale I saw on Pro-Touring.com. They took a while as they are totally custom, but the are beautiful (I think). Quality product...

Looks like Bonspeed has a sale:

You can even open a Lay-A-Way for $700 and lock in this fantastic deal. Your FREE wheel is standard finish and will not include any special powder coat or other finishes. This special is for NEW orders only and not valid with other previous price quotes or offers.

ACT FAST BECAUSE IT ENDS FRIDAY!

However I haven't finished my brackets yet and really want to make sure and have the correct measurements before ordering...

Maybe someone else can use the offer...

Hey Dickdale I ordered my wheels under a similar offer and didn't provide my final dimensions for weeks, which turned out to be fine due to a backlog in production - which I guess could be seen as a good thing in my case. Ask for Brad there and tell him that you'd like the deal but can't provide final measurements yet. I'll bet he'll give you a pass.

They are offering 20% off right now, what sort of pricing are you guys getting? Gonna call them tmr and see. If my mind doesn't explode, I'll place an order.

Mine where about 700/800 dollar a wheel.

How long did it take for him to deliver the wheels? He told me the delivery time was 10 weeks.

What's your experience on production/delivery time and communication?

Little late to the thread here. I purchased BonSpeed PureSpeeds for a project two years ago during a buy 3 get the 4th...

I would say lead time for this day and age was not acceptable, 10-12 weeks. Wheels were over 4 weeks late from original delivery date. IIRC getting ahold of them every week for an update was a PIA. It seemed like it wasn't a real company, seemed like a one man show with a lot of subcontracting.

When I finally got them I was not overly impressed, nice wheels though. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought Billet Specialties new ProTouring wheels.

I bought mine on June the 7th and replied the signed order form which stated delivery date 10 weeks. I'm now 15 weeks due.

Still being hopeful.

Don't want to be negative about him or bring him down. Just sharing my experience.

I'll let tzclark fill you in on the details for himself but I chat with him regularly and his are way past due as well. I think he ordered at the beginning of March and still doesn't have them

Thx, Hydroon but I'm also chatting with him about his order. His story is ridiculous!

Don't cut this guy a break. It seems normal to give 10 week dates then take another 10 to deliver. Appears this is on every order and it hasn't changed from 2 years ago. Bad business IMO. I wouldn't buy anything from them again.

It's officially been 6 months today, I received a tracking number last night. After waiting for 6 months, the wheels better be flawless!

Long story short, won't be recommending them to anyone or ever purchasing wheels from them again. I felt that I was getting the run around the whole time.

Think we're all very curious on how they turned out...

Well I got them. They are nice, they aren't perfect but for what I paid I am very happy with quality. The part of the purchase I wasn't happy with is how long they took and being kept in the loop.

That is a sideways 68 with a 355/30/19 propped up with a can full of bolts.... still made my day!
