Broke my 7UP Pop Machine today....

Hey Wayne, the car looks fantastic. Looks like you have your plate (and garage) full for the next little while. I assume the new car will need some little corrections to make it original and nice? Looking forward to your thread on that car. Good luck with both putting the bird back together and the new one.

Wayne don't know you personally, but your car is simply beautiful! I love yellow Mopar's and have owned several over the years. In my opinion, yours may be the best I've seen, and it isn't even fully put back together yet!! Nice to see you have persevered through the insurance BS, I hope I would have handled that mess as well as you seem to have. Best of luck with your Bird moving forward and drive the heck out of it!!

Like Bon Jovi says, "I'm half way there" ! LOL Worst part is I need to add another car to the policy on Thursday ffs. Not much option up here for agreed coverage...
I am with Zehr in New Hamburg. Agreed value with appraisal. Less expensive than Hagerty.

Fender scoop stud bosses toast on the passenger side. Need to fix them up.

Just enough hanging on to get height measurements on each boss to make a "mold".

Parts parts and more parts..

Studs in place.

Some bolt thread protector tubes off my aircraft hardware stock.

Cardboard tube cut to correct length and trimed and taped in a taper.

I like the headlight door blackout better on yours than what the factory did.

Nose gets decals around both buckets. That Black is just so it doesn't have the raccoon eye look when they go on... it does kinda look neat that way though! But it will look like this again after I get it cut and polished first...

On a high dollar car, I understand the need to make it factory correct.

Keep up the good work, the paint and body work looks very nice. Best of luck Wayne in dealing with the insurance company... we don’t pay up for top notch insurance to have to fight them. You work on aircraft, you know paperwork is always required to keep things legit, I’m sure you’re well prepared.

Just to veer ever-so-slightly from the track.......can I get a close-up of that truck please?

Wow, nearly a full year since you started this thread! How's the pop machine doing? :)
Still keeping the beer cold! The light behind the 7UP panel died though as the starter ballast won't stay in the busted socket anymore. Something else to fix....
