I don't know, I might have you all beat. When I was circumcised as an infant, it hurt so much, I COULDN'T WALK FOR A YEAR :tantrum:
Hmmm....seems to me I had a similar experience too..

Helping my dad install a window AC unit in folks apartment, after having a few beers with him, when he remembered he wanted to do this - it was a little tricky as the window was pert near 7 feet high on the exterior. I was on my tip-toes when suddenly the unit came plunging out the window finding my fingers running across the edges of the fins, then had to jump away and let the sucker drop crashing to the asphalt. It was ahh...incredibly dumb & dumber - several days of *** wiping with the non-dom hand and showers wearing a baggy or glove.

I've found it more compelling to listen to injured people's hassles trying to do normal chores being crippled up during recovery. Then others who never recover losing fingers and more. Talking to a guy who lost part of his hand in a press years before, he said he's still reminded of his injury daily when shaving, getting dressed, and such. He was a 200+ bowler and excellent trap shooter. He learned to bowl left-handed garnering a 160-ish average by the time and gave up trap shooting having too much frustration being so less able than he had been before. It's these stories that to me, are more of a reminder about avoiding injury than the injury itself.

been a while, and long overdue for a bump...... nothing too bad.......but today I managed 3 moderate episodes in a 4 hour window....... quantity, not quality lol

3 quantity (minor) better then 1 quality (THAT ******* HURTS LIKE A SUM-BITCH)!!
Old skhool band-aid works best!!! Yellow electric tape a nice touch, usually use blue on mine.
Rebel sanitize them for you??

In July of 2013 I suffered a dislocated right ankle. Now...that doesn't sound terrible in and of itself but the reality of it was that my right foot was bent, at the ankle, to 90 degrees relative the leg. Looking down at my foot it was bent all of the way to the left with the sole of my foot facing the left leg. Like an "L". Seriously. Funny thing though. It didn't really hurt, it was just numb. It DID begin to hurt about 40 minutes later. At that point I was on a stretcher in the ER and the nurse gave me a big 'ole shot of Dilaudid. I felt the warmth spread across my chest and down my legs and the pain disappeared instantly and I was a happy camper. Freakin ankle still hurts to this day if I walk too much on it. My intial reaction to SEEING my foot like that was, " Huh, well, will you look at that..."

Angle grinder, no blade guard. I tried using blue printers tape, I didn’t have any yellow tape. Needles to say, it didn’t work well.

nice work! ^^^^^^^^

for the record, there is a folded up piece of paper towel under the tape...... red neck gauze lol

Anymore I can bludgen my head on the hood latch or inner fender or k frame and not even leave a mark. Then I'll leave a trail of blood across the shop like a stuck pig and not even know how I did it.

Yup, I used blue shop towel to match my blue painters tape. It usually does the trick but not this time. I even put on a rubber glove over the “bandage”. It would not stop bleeding.

are tetanus shots still a thing? cause it's been like 30 years and all this junk is rustier than ever

bleeding from the palm, coincidence? maybe.

Exploded a 4 ton cable winch pulling the airplane lift up back in September, on what was supposed to be the last day in camp.. Caught it in the face and luckily didn't lose teeth or an eye. Smashed my face open and actually had my finger inside my sinus cavity to stop the bleeding while finding my way up to the house. Lucky I didn't get knocked off the dock into the lake... had to delay flying home by 2 days to make sure I didn't have an active concussion.. Wife was impressed. All boats already pulled out of the lake and stored and nothing for her to get me to town to an ambulance.. like she wanted to do. It still hasn't healed properly 6 months later.
