busted knuckle pictures

Man, I resemble all that but don’t think to take pictures. And have broken bones in both feet twice in two years. The 1, 2 and 3rd metatarsal bone breaks at same time did hurt.

Apparently my father had a similar experience in his youth. Launching into the pedals when the stem snapped.

He ended up briefly running behind the handlebars, before face-planting the road.
Ouch!

Luckily my helmet took most of the brunt of the accident in my head area. I only had one small bit of road rash near my temple.

I got an arc flash from a motor control center bucket that shorted out. Luckily my clothes didn’t catch on fire. This was before we started wearing protective gear.View attachment 1254726
Good thing you weren't wearing your 250% polyester disco shirt.

Should've put my dislocated big toe right foot, note bruising. All the toes were bent backward. Happened May 2 and May 12 badly sprained left ankle. No picture of that, hurt worse than toe. Fibula was on fire hurt like hell!

19 months without a mishap, I'm on a bit of a roll....... but a new project just showed up, I seem to bleed on every one of them

They don't make the photo album big enough for me to keep "pain pics".
....Just keep getting back up...

Ouch!
Can't even begin to count the number of
thumb smashings,, cuts, burns, bumped
heads suffered while working on the
current project at hand.
I just got to where I can walk again after
tripping over the floor jack and breaking
a few toes and a couple left foot bones.
I gotta say, it's not everyday we all get to see
naked pics of RC....well done.

Hey, the GTX is supposed to be blue, not red!

the blood mimics the red oxide primer I find on all of these cars....... you need to :poke: Barry a bit to open an account and join the fun
Yup. He said he is likely to open a build thread - I just need to buy him a couple of :drinks: to soften him up.

I never thought of taking any photos of my injuries...

haven't had anything bad since long before cell phones
& digital cameras anyway, & it'd be on a Polariod :poke:

I've had quite a few stitches over the years
no real broken bones
split my sternum (can't describe that pain)
a hairline fracture (they say broken arm) in my left arm
never any cast, just a sling

I was 18, when my 68 Charger fell/bounce off my chest
weld on some POS 'Grand Auto' brand, stamped steel jackstands
one of them on/under the front, I had the car up on 4 of them
anyway a spot-type weld broke/popped, it was loud
I crawled out
I thought is was the kid across the street shooting bb's
at my car again (long story)
checked the car didn't notice anything
I got back under the car, a while later, maybe 15 min.'s (?)
I was working on putting the trans pan back on
& car suddenly just 'rolled to the right'
I had 1 tire on it on the back 'thank god'
n50/15 on new Cragers I was test fitting
before I went under it to do a valve-body or shift kit in the trans
if I wasn't in the tunnel area, no driveshaft in it at the time
I'd have been completely crushed
16 days in a hospital/ER 1st
my chest looked like I was a Concord Grape, bruising
that took like 18 months to totally heal

had numerous cuts & bruises

mostly doing **** in the garage, almost never at work

Contracting/construction is dangerous enough,
without getting hurt doing it too

I did get my collarbone dislocated (not broken) when
& I separated my left shoulder playing football
making a tackle & the guy rolling over my arm/chest in a weird angle
they set my shoulder on the sidelines & I went back in the game
didn't even know about my collarbone until,
I was taking a shower after the game,
& my shoulder socket/arm popped out again,
then they told me I had a dislocated collarbone too
about a year in rehab for that shoulder,
I never did get surgery like they said I needed
(edited; I should have said; they taped me up, to hold my shoulder/arm in place
they thought it was just dislocated, not completely separated
)

no problems, ever since,
sometimes when it's really cold I feel it a lil'
I attribute that to getting older

I was & still am not a camera or photo guy
some people take photos of every-damn-thing under the sun
I'm not & never will be one of 'them people'

Separated shoulder’s suck. Just did mine a few weeks ago playing hockey. Doing the PT thing now. I’ve cut myself with an angle grinder more times than I care to remember working on my car. I hate using them!!
