Bought a Aeromotive Pump and tank for my 70RR. The Aeromotive tank only comes in Cali Emissions configuration.

Unfortunately my car only has the two vent lines on the front of the tank. Anyone put this style tank in a normal car? And how did you hook up the vent lines?

Yeah, I had the same with a cali tank on a 72 B. I ended up using only one vent line open to the atmosphere.
Like the old cars.

Have you come up with a solution yet? I just picked up this tank and am wondering the same thing.

I think for now I’m just going to T the two 3/8 lines together and run to one of the stock lines. And T the two 1/4 lines together and do the same thing. Someone from another forum suggested finding parts from a 72 up car and using them but…race car. lol

The more I look at it I may just run the 1/4 to one of the vent lines and the larger one to the other vent line and cap off the other two. Not sure I really need 4 vents in the tank when it only had two originally…..I’ll just run some fuel line to connect the two. I may have over thought the situation originally

Not sure if you saw this but HawkRod posted this photo in an older thread that shows where the vents all go on a stock tank, I would guess they copied it. I like the idea of doing the 2 into 1 deal. I had even thought about modifying a catch can with 4 nipples and filling it with charcoal and mounting it in the trunk or something with a vent that goes back outside

That’s the ticket right there. Use the two that fit the ines in your car and jump the other 2 unused together using rubber fuel line.
