Well... it started slipping in high gear, and it was looking like I was going to have to pull the tranny and rebuild it. Engine compartment needs paint too, and since i have a nice 440 here waiting to be put together, one thing leads to another...

Out with the old.

Monster under the bed seems to have crawled under my car.

I have a warped sense of humor, so I've been making some of my own decals/logos to go on the car. Here's what's on the dryer for the add on AC system I'm putting on there. Got some "unique" stuff being added, like the "PSD" (Pistonary Sparkulator Device)Ignition box that's being added to supplement the ignition system :)

So far... maybe I'll have it done in a week or so.

Very cool. Those 1.5's look familiar lol here are mine. What the heck is that manifold? all one piece including valley pan?

That manifold is an old Weiand WCFQ, and you're right, doesn't need a valley pan. If you look close, the runner size IS the runner size, there's just a little triangle piece of material in there dividing them, and a plenum divider in the middle with a balance port. I first found one back about '85 and they were obsolete then, but for $25 I figured I'd give it a try. It's never seemed to lose any bottom end power and thinks it's a tunnel ram on top end cause it doesn't run out there either. I think this is the 5th one I've had, I look for one for every 440 I build, and they keep climbing in price. I did grind off all the casting numbers on this one and had it powder coated.
