HELP!!
62 413 Max Wedge. Just got running. These 50 year old carbs are turning my hair gray. Now there leaking so bad the base gasket is soaked. Been rebuilt, floats set correctly, etc.
Any suggestions short of getting some Edelbrock 1404's. LOL
Thanks

Fuel could be coming from the main discharge and running out the throttle shafts, or the main well plugs, hole in the main body, fuel inlet fitting, and so on.....

I suppect the main well plugs. Will do another tear down to see. Will let u know.

Those 3447SA Max Wedge Carbs and very tricky unless you've worked with them a long time.

Call Scott Smith @ Harms Auto at the web address attached. He's an expert on trouble shooting those specific carbs. He also completely restores and rebuilds them and if needed will plate them so they'll look new. He guarantees them to run smoothly.
