I can barbeque with the best of them... and ruin pancakes just as easily. Go figure.

I discovered long ago,
pancakes are very difficult
to cook on the grill......
Same difficulty as grilling
BBQ beans.....

Dinner tonight....
20230304_190342.jpg
Home made coleslaw and
tater salad, slow roasted
ribs, and some baked beans.
I'm stuffed.

Thanks for posting, Bud.
I've hunted waterfowl and
Upland birds for years.
Love the sport.
Most of how I cook duck
now is shishkabob.
Chunk up the breast and
marinate in Italian salad
dressing for 12 hours.
When pokin' 'em on the
stick there's Canadian
bacon on each side. Also
use green chili peppers or
Jalapeños, cherry tomatoes,
baby onions, whole
mushrooms, and pineapple.
Using the pineapple juice
from the can as a glaze.
I like Italian dressing for marinating too

the shishkabobs (spell) sound great,
could do that with most all meats & poultries

i’d be happy to oblige. cooking tonight in fact . fried loaded taters …i start with a pound of bacon (plenty of oil for the griddle) a pound of bob evans breakfast sausage, and a pound of fresh polish sausage leftover from last night’s dinners . brown up and set aside . fresh green peppers(3) , large onions (2), handful of mild pepper rings browned up set aside. while ur doin this parboil some taters . leave firm , finish cooking later . when par boiled slice like you like em . brown up what you can fit in your pan . when done ad to large pan , add a scoop of meat then a scoop of veggies. repeat till outta parts ..i’ll then fry up in a skillet , ad a couple overeasy eggs on top .

Center cut chops
Marinate two thick cut chops in 1/4 cup soy sauce , 2 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot, coarse black pepper, and garlic powder.
Grill over charcoal or pellet grill for a more moist thick chop.
Enjoy
Gus

Two packages of Bratwurst, Two Vidalia onions, one green Bell pepper, one yellow bell pepper, four diced garlic cloves, 1/4 stick of butter, Two bottles of Warsteiner Dark Beer. aluminum pan. Put the stick of butter in the pan on the grill and melt it. Put in the chopped onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Cook until softened. Poke alot of holes in the brats and put them on the grill and cook them 80% so they have nice dark grill marks as pictured. Pour in the two bottles of beer and add the brats. cook for twenty minutes or so. I'll never cook another Brat any other way! Braised Bratwurst.
