coil suggestions needed

I am thinking of replacing the coil. 440 with points eliminate kit( not sure what brand ). MSD 6A ignition box. Ballast resistor still hooked up. Accel super coil. New 8mm spiral core plug wires @ 270 ohms/ft. Stock heat # plugs. What coil recommendations do you have.

MSD Blaster 2 is good enough... epoxy one too.

Your coil and electronic box should be a matched pair IMHO.

Unless you have pretty deep knowledge of the inner details and functions, you shouldn't just pick any coil, since they may electrically be very different.

If your MSD box is driving the coil, IMHO you should go with the coil recommended for that box, and remove/bypass the ballast resistor if that's recommended (as usually is for high performance ignition systems).
