Coolant Recovery Options

I want to change my cooling system from having just a coolant overflow tank (water bottle) to a full coolant recovery system. Can someone point me in the right direction for the proper radiator cap and container options. I have a 65 B Body with a 440 and a 22 inch aluminum radiator.
 
The cap needs to have a double seal, one at the spring tip area and one at the flange area. This cap can be used for open or closed systems. The one w only one rubber seal can only be used on open systems. Pretty much all 74 mopar caps had a dual rubber seal and will fit most all 60's style radiators. The bottle will need to have 2 hoses, one that allows for expansion fluid to flow into to bottle from radiator fill neck, and that line also needs to go down into the bottle to the bottom so that as the radiator cools, it can suck fluid back in. The other hose is at the top and is for overflow in case the bottle gets too full. This type of system, you will fill radiator to the top, and just a small amount in bottle. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a bottle.

Is there a particular reason you are wanting to go closed system? I have a 496 w a/c in AZ w 125° summer temps. Open system. I fill 1" below bottom of filler neck. Have never, even on rare idling for 20 minutes w a/c on and engine hitting 225°, had it puke out or boil over.

My understanding is the open system introduces air which eventually causes rust formation. Closed system does not do that.

The closed system eliminates air, which not only reduces oxidation, but reduces cavitation. Sometimes you will run 10 degrees cooler when you go to the closed system.
 
What did you use for mounting? I'm looking into doing the same as either my radiator cap isn't functioning properly or is only rated to about 195-199 degrees, as it will open up and let coolant escape at that temp.
I used c channel brackets from a WiFi antenna kit. The brackets are mounted in the existing holes and zip tie the bottle through the slots in the brackets.

Radiator caps are rated by pressure, not temperature. Maybe you just need a new cap.

50/50 antifreeze mix w a 15 psi cap won't boil till 268°. Probably a bad cap and don't forget that you only fill to 1" below bottom of filler neck.
