Corvette or Mopar?

To compare a chev to a mopar is like apples and lemons, the chev being the lemon. oh and BTW; Sonny says the new vet looks like a Camaro from the door bottom back. rather have a DODGE Challenger-----> srt 8<-----

the front of the new vette looks like they copied it from the new viper....

I Agree.........I would say the Viper takes the cake

the viper srt-4 makes the new vette look like ****. i could go the rest of my life without seeing another vette

Agreed on the comparison. If I had the $$ and wanted to go the sports car route, I'd definitely go the Viper direction.

Don't know if anyone cares, but I see Camaro's will be built in the US instead of Canada starting next year.

I care! I'd like to see more production come back to the United States. No offense to Brampton...they build a fine car (I had a 2009 Challenger R/T). But you don't see a lot of foreign manufacturers setting up shop here to sell cars in their home countries. Why should we?

Not a Camaro fan, but "Camaro's built in Lansing Michigan" has a nice ring to it, as well as "Vipers built in Detroit"

Absolutely. I had read that late last year. I for one am thrilled they will be built here again. ...and about my previous comments, I simply abhore these new body styles with old monikers. These are cars with legendary pasts, their body styles, while certainly should be modern, should echo the cars that started it all......and they no longer do. At least with the Challenger, they scream where those cars came from. Caint say that about the Charger, though.

Wow. Didn't realize that you are the only one on this site entitled to an opinion, and who says I was looking to change anything? The only bridge needed here is the one you should use to get over yourself there, general.

Real classy welcome for a new poster here. :icon_rolleyes:

Iron Chef, Don't take offense, it's just his view/opinion... nothen' more, nothen less !!, to each there own, your views & comments are welcome here too... I personally have always liked Covettes & Stingrays too, from 1956-72 & 1990-present...

Amen to that Prop !!

I love the 65-70 big block cars. I got nuthin at all against Corvettes. Just someone else's artistic interpretation of what they are supposed to be. To me they look nothing like a Corvette anymore. More power to you if you like the new ones. They ain't my cup of tea.

Rusty you really need to drive one, if you haven't already, they are freaken' impressive to drive, that's what it's all about, to say the least... I still love the new Challenger, {my old B-Body better}, it can be improved allot too, they are a great platform to start with, but I also love allot of different cars too... not so much the new Camaro, it's flat out Fugly to me {unless it's a Pro/Mod or P/S car}, the new Mustang/Shelby's are growing on me, but I'm still not completely there yet...LOL... but to each their own...

Oh no worries. Like I said, when you're an Admin on a site, you get used to it and you'd better have a skin thicker than shoe leather. And you're right. The new Vettes are nothing less than amazing to drive. Nothing against any other car...I'm a fan of many and think they all have their good points. I LOVE driving my '70 Challenger and '71 Charger. But driving the C6 is almost like putting one on.

LOL Dawg is on vacation till next week...and not a self-imposed vacation at that...

His CAT is also on self-imposed vacation...........

Oh, I'm sure. And I'm also sure some of my feelings are due to jealousy. My po redneck *** won't ever be able to even sit in one. So, why not like the stuff I CAN sit in better?

They claim that the '14 Stingray will have 450+ Hp and get almost 30 MPG Hwy. That's some pretty impressive engineering IMHO.

You got that right. You are entitled to your opinion. It's just the way it comes across.
