Um no RT in 74 for starters.

No Plum Crazy in 74

That car came with a 318 in it not a 360.

Dont know much about 74 challengers but I don't see a fendor tag in the place I would look for it...but then I am sure the photos were taken that way for a reason.

Nice paint on the rust in the trunk... And wheres that jack we heard so much about?

"The undercarriage is 100% ready for the road and looks as new" That's rich....

The interior...omg I don't even know where to begin.

Something wrong with those wipers? LOL

"Things like the exhaust system and gas tank were apparently replaced when the rest of the car was restored." Really? I mean Really? Not a few sentences earlier it was a quality restoration...

19k....sigh

Oh yeah...and those "bids" are probably manufactured from buddys or alt accounts to "show" interest.

How many miles on that broken speedo?
Headlights and the bezels don't line up. Front end collision?
Wrong center caps on the wheels.
Engine compartment wiring restoration by 3M.
Concours engine by Krylon.
Need we go on?
No cost spared on this restoration. (Except for the $12 brake pedal pad).

Whats really funny is the guy really thinks he has something!!!Probably a chevy guy trying to make some real money...Too bad he,s MoPar Stupid...
Petty Blue 67 gTx

C'mon, say it like Mr. Gump... "I got me a Mowpar".

COuld you get that ralleye dash in '74? I see an automatic and console but it has a small manual trans brake pedal. Wheres the dash emblem. An A/C car with out the A/C. A GM side terminal battery...sacrelidge. Relocated start relay? Nice harness "restoration" No fan shroud, does it run hot? Air shocks, I wonder what shape the cross member is in. This guy is smokin & strokin..."This is an investment collector condition car that demands respect" right.

It's a dealer.....and wow wtf? anyone decode the vin yet? 318 car, looks like it had a/c at one time and what is up with the under coating? looks like crap....must be a chevy guy lmao trunk divider missing wheres the bowtie under the seat?

I emailed him and asked for clarification on the 5th VIN digit he has listed as "6".
I suggested it could be a "G" indicating a 318 car.
I never got a reply.
It's a relatively nice looking car, and even 318 E body cars are getting expensive.
The first two times it was listed there were no bidders the entire time.

I think if the seller were to be a bit more correct in the listing, it would prebably do better.

Another issue is that several times the term "frame off" restoration is used.
I doubt seriously the frame horns were removed from the unibody, and if they were.....

If it was listed as a Rallye 318 car with "upgrades", and without all the generic and/or misunderstood/misused terminology, I'm sure folks would be much more likely to consider it.

My 73 rallye 318 VIN started with JS, are the 74 cars different, or is this not even a rallye car?

Is the seller breaking the law by misrepresenting this car?

I just reported it to ebay as fraudulent. I am sure they will do nothing....but that is the most dishonest listing I have ever seen. I realize its on the buyer to check it out... But that dude is just a lying POS.

I agree with YY1. Call a spade a spade. You could still get a decent price for it being honest.

That is one of the worst exhausts I have seen, looks to be held together with clamps and JB weld, you can even see smudge where it leaks haha. The complete flywheel is exposed, with visible black spray paint on it. Must have been over spray when he was spray painting the undercarriage, suspension, spare tire, radiator, brake booster, windshield wiper motor, ect. Did he paint the interior parts too!? That spare tire is conveniently placed in front of the gas tube, is it hiding something?

Hmm, I've never heard of a "dogde" Challenger nor have I ever been "challanged" to find a better one and I'm "absolutly" sure the guy flunked spelling in grade school. The door panels are scuffed up as are the seat backs, and the exhaust system looks like a 10 year old was doing his first solo welding job.

LMAO!!! Higher education,indeed.

my old man sold his 74 318 blue challenger for 9k as amateur resto.....and his id not have a gauge panel like this car has...I'm not sure if it is a rally 73 carry over but I now ours was different. And your right...his add says he finds low millage "antique" cars and trucks for light restoration or refreshing ... pretty easy to back the miles down on the older speedo's....nice car, but ours was a much nicer car than this and I thought the old man got a good price as did the buyer...my pop's felt like he was asking to much..sheesh

but as far as e body value...have you guys seen the add in mopar collector's guide for the e body shells selling for 2800-7k? and I mean shell's, so I guess its all in what your after and if money is an object or not...me I'll stick to my no body wants;em 73-74 chargers..at least that is what the last ford guy trying to sell me a front fender for 400$ told me ;)

I believe the dash is out of a 73 360 4spd car.red lined at 5500 rpm.Still has the 5 mile an hour bumpers with the bumperetts removed. She has chevy rim for a spare, someone has installed subframe connectors.Undercarrage should be body color. That is the most degusting detailing under neath I've ever seen.

I've seen rallye and non-rallye clusters in both rallye and non-rallye cars.

My dad ordered a 74 Challenger 318/auto Rallye brand new and it had the Rallye gauges and the same tach as this car and so does my brothers 73 318/auto non-Rallye car. The car could have car from the factory with a 318/3spd on the floor which would explain the man trans brake pedal. If that was the case the car would not have had the console originally.

This guy has a used car lot in Lakeland, he's not that far from me. I wonder if I should drive by and have a look.

My son and I just had another look, we can't count high enough to list all of the problems but especially like the missing torque converter dust cover and the "A/C delete" that left evaporator fittings in the firewall.

Oh I bet it look 10x worse in person than pictures. Don't get too close if you go though...that slime might never come off.
