disc brake swap 67 belvedere

Ill be using knuckles off of a 77 Cordoba on my 69 Coronet. Though im using 70-72 pin type calipers to help clear the sway bar as reccamended by the Mopar Action "Disco-Tech" article...

I think it will work fine.

And BTW..... I think you should black out the head light buckets. :D

Nice Belv.

Cordoba brakes will probably limit you to 15" or larger wheels.

My 87 5th Ave brakes work with my 14" Magnum 500's and Rallyes.

Cordoba knuckles and rotors will work. The calipers aren't a good fit.

The Mopar Action tech article is a good place to start. My B-body book has all of the updated information in it.

What's not a good fit? Sorry. Not understanding.

I have fifth ave brakes, not cordoba knuckles and fifth ave calipers. Just reread my post, guess it was kinda confusing.

i have 17x8 on the rear and 17x7 on the front. thanks for advise

scored 76 coronet disc brakes

hey guys my local wench a pets salavge yard had a 50% off deal going on this weekend total cost 32bucks, anyway i got the spindles, calipers, rotors, pads, dust plates but the hoses didnt look that great so I left them. the car had just gotten there in june. someone had installed a complete front end kit in this car recently new tierods ball joints ect. everything camw apart really easy. i stpped by the car wash and knocked the dust off. when i got home I installed everything to see how it would turn out. ill take some pics tomorrow. thanks again guys.:headbang:

after installing the complete set up I noticed a lot of positive camber, not sure if the control arms have enough adjustment to make it work. btw I ended up using all parts off an 76 coronet, my apoligies for the spelling errors in the post. I really dont want to spend the money for the modern adjustable control arms. I did notice the spindles were much taller than my original drum spindles.
