Do I want this coronet?

I’m a sucker for 66-67s myself personally I think it’s a great deal it’s a good color and a big block and the body looks decent excluding the smashed up front which could be a good opportunity to put a Charger front clip on

There are options that this buy offers. And options are always good.

I wouldn't but that's just me. THere's more damage to the front end that meets the eye and everything I see needs to be replaced or restored to be nice. You are looking at $50,000+ to do it up nice. It is a big block car but only a 383 2 barrel. THat doesn't make it worth a bunch more if restored. IMO

To be fair opinions of nice differ to make the car concourse sure that would cost a fortune. But to have a nice fun driver slap a front clip on it send it to a paint guy (or do it your own) and enjoy the thing take it out and do big Smokey burn outs kick a rod out of the 383 make a memory in it that doesn’t cost a fortune.

When a 66-67 coronet is done right and the body gaps are all straight, there is hardly a better looking car around. I see quite a few charger parts cars out there. Joe Phillips restoration in Thunder Bay Ontario makes 1/4 panels, trunk drops and some other pieces for 66-67 satellite , Coronet and charger. Prices are very good but 3-6 month wait. Interior stuff is all available

Joe Phillips 1/4s and what 50 hours of labour does to rusty fenders, bent ones are way easier to fix (my opinion)
