Dodge is up to something again..

Absolutely LOVE my 2013 Charger Daytona R/T! I loved my 2006 Charger R/T so much I bought a wrecked one and stuffed as much of it as I could in my 70 GTX. It just got me 25.5 MPG on a recent 200 mile road trip. I have not had it on the strip yet but on a 2 1/2 mile road course it hauled the mail just fine. In stock form minus smog ****, that 5.7 is pretty awesome. A 392 or Hellcrate in the GTX would flat out be scary!

Definitely looks like a Challenger.

Just seen the video while poking around at AllPar, this info was in the thread regarding the Rebel TRX...which according to sources there, will be coming out soon, with two versions...a TR and a TRX! 717 HP and 797 HP....it sounds like a new 7.0 litre (426 ci) engine is in development and will be replacing one of the current motors available now, if the 797 HP motor is the new "Hellcat" motor, then we can expect it to be used in all the models (Charger, Challenger, Trackhawk and the new TRX).

There is also talk of a new widebody Challenger being built to take on the Bowtie and Blue oval crowd on the track...Dodge is faster in the quarter mile, but they want to beat the other two on the twisties as well! Cars have been spotted running around the Detroit area that some people think are Demon's, but others say are the mules for new motors and chassis upgrades for the next gen.

Just like all the NASCAR rumors over there.....speculation until Ma Mopar releases more info! But it is a good Easter egg.....I would expect more to come!!

I love all these specialty models they keep bringing out... but if they would just put the 5.7 in the AWD Challenger, that's all I'd need or want.

I've never owned a vehicle that wasn't over a decade old, but I swear I'd order a new 5.7 AWD Challenger tomorrow if they would just build it.

Help me understand the market for an AWD Challenger. I don’t see much of one. What’s the attraction?

I agree with most, cost to much... don't care.... $50,000-$80,000 for a car is just stupid!! I'd much rather restore a classic for much less. I do love it that Mopar is taking back it's place as the king of the quarter mile though.

I wonder if the Charger will get these goodies as well. Fca authority says they will get some, but I'm wondering if it'll get the whole redeye treatment

For anyone that can't handle 797 ponies, it looks like Dodge just added 10 more horses to the standard Hellcat.

cool add

supercharged for sure

love that whine

11 minutes to empty a tank of gas. Sounds like that can get pricey in a hurry

At that rate, the -destination- would come up in a hurry also.:)

Must be a gay pride/Chevy thing.
Straight people don't drive Camaros

You mentioned FAG in another post and GAY in this one. You seem to know an awful lot about the subject. Didn't Iowa get the news that we're not in the 1960s any more? Grow up. Might have been funny in 7th grade, but coming from an adult, it just is down right ignorant...

I kinda hope this car is not released with a manual trans.option. --That's all it might take for my impaired brain to step back in. (I have a 2015 hellcat 6sp)
Passing on the demon (auto trans. only) was a no-brainer for my issue/problem.
