Hi All I own an Australian assembled Polara down here it's called a Phoenix, it is right hand drive with a 318cid, I have had a 440 b/rb built with most of the parts from 440 source standard crank.
She is pink and I plan on changing the colour it's not me lol
Thanks for the add Joeychgo :)

welcome to FBBO, no idea on your questions not my area/era of knowledge, good luck

Welcome from Minnesota.

Hello aussiescott. Welcome to the forum, thanks for sharing your car with us.

Sorry, can't see enough of the rear bumper in that shot but doesn't looks like the usual '63 version.. Your Phoenix was similar to the Dodge 440 in the US, but your bonnet emblem looks like something from the 1950s to me.

Your above the bumper marker lights look different to me, I'm used to the local versions that have them below, such as this:

Welcome. With a few minor differences it looks like a US built Polara. Cool car and thanks for the pics.

The rear bumper looks like a 64 model with the bumper guards! The hood trim is different for sure!

welcome to FBBO nice looking 63 thanks for the pics

WOW! That pink is burning my eyes & I'm almost totally colorblind. I'm thinking black, or maybe black & white, cop car clone. Welcome to FBBO.

Welcome, I'm gonna shoot from the hip here and say the hood ornament and deck lid flashers were added to the car around the same time as the electric lilac paint. Do a few "google" searches and get an idea of how it should be. Pull those off and redo it with the new paint scheme. Or not.

hi and welcome to the site :headbang:

Just came across an A body dart photo. '64 that has those same flashers, or in this case back up lights mounted in the deck lid.

Just found this. I think there must be a law about the location of the park lights/ turn signals down under.

DSC01236.jpgHere is or was my 63 440 Dodge and the factory hood emblem. I'm still looking for a picture of the rear bumper.

Welcome to the site! I've seen other right hand cars over your way and there is some strange things on them. One member on here has a '64 right hand drive that he races and it has a Plymouth dash! By the way, love the color, I wouldn't change it.

65 aussie coronet
that's a shame as there are so little of these here in Oz.:(
Why not sell it and buy the parts you need from the US?
Many car importers will bring in parts for you.
If anything I'd 2 door it!!

Yes agreed but there are fewer 65 coronet convertibles here! I am parting out what I do not need so some other guys are getting some bits to bring theirs back to beauty!
