My mom put this Lab puzzle together and gave it to my wife and me for Christmas.

Laney grabs a toy, usually a bone, out of the dog toy box to greet us when we get home. This day there were a few trips in and away from home...obviously, by the "bone count" (4 bones)

I swore I wouldn’t do this but here we go. Got Zach as a rescue 1-1/2 yrs ago after he spent god knows how many yrs.ago outside in a building. Matted fur & the smell! 1-1/2 yrs with us and then cancer in liver.One of the best we’ve ever had, surgery in Dec. and never even licked the surgery site, not once!Couldnt even navigate the steps in split-level when we first got him. Cancer spread after surgery and had to put down at 0200on the the 15th. Hard to type with all the moisture around! Have had many ‘Goldens’, but he was just so special after the life he must have spent previously.

Am so so sorry for your lots, at least at the end he have someone who deeply love him in the way he deserve.
