I can't get a pic of this, but.....
Scratchin Cudabuggers belly, laying on his back, rear leg kicking, while he's chewing on my beard, and his tail is laying across the cat....who is completely ignoring the goings-on.
Good times.

Edit: this is now Cuda's new "thing". Four days straight of laying on his back with me on the bed, on his back, getting a belly scratch and a beard chew. Minus the cat however.

Speaking of dogs we just took our 4 to the vet. Wow.
2200.00 dollars for the annual checks and shots.
Bernese, great Pyrenees, sheepdog poodle mix and a lab husky mix

damn for just that
4 dogs & it's $2,200 you need to find a different
vet VMD, that's extortion

I love my animals & will pay what ever it takes
but;
sometime they are crooks, outright crooks in billing or pricing
I refuse to pay extortion

my Elvis had to have emergency surgery about 8-9 (?) months ago
for a growth/cyst exploded, he kept liking on it, broke it open on his foot,
grew to the size of a nickel maybe
it/his surgery & all his meds combined were only $698
that included 3 visits & 2 rebandaging & a consultation, testing for cancer
turned out it was from an ingrown hair follicle...
I met with the actual surgeon, she's a retired VMD surgeon
that comes in for special cases

Elvis he's fully healed, he was great the day after like nothing happened
after he got the bandages off, & stitches out
it was a couple weeks you can't even tell

I had a quote from another vet $2,800, they claimed it was cancer
& it wasn't...
2 strikes you won't get me on 3...
I got another opinion, the old org. vet I had retired & new people 'suck ***'
I was not going to pay that extortion...

I think they know they got ya' they do a excess charge too

It costs me around $150 per dog and thats not with the heart worm meds. All shots and blood test. ACL cost me $2600 and surgery for Thor was $1200 on his intestines. Look around for a better vet. I went to a hospital for Thor and they wanted to charge $2000 to keep him over night. Some places know you will do anything for you dogs and they charge you an arm and a leg. JMO

Colleges with AG & VMD programs, vet programs/hospitals, large animals usually
can sometime do it way cheaper too
my oldest sister Lori ran one at UC Davis org. (many moons ago now)
unfortunately she's lives in Oregon near the Wash. border, runs a clinic there
some 700+ miles north of me now...

Haha yes she is. My last Queensland Max could peel a tennis ball in record time but Mia is very kind to her toys and knows right where they all are.
