DOGS

My daughter had two C-Sections today. This poor Pittie mom was about to bust. She had 12 pups. Before and after.

When the owners adopted her they didn't know she was preggo. I bet they'll be looking for homes.

She keeps dropping it in my lap hoping I throw it. It is dark out and she is clean so...

Our Heeler out doing leaves today... She is on special $120 a bag food for her kidneys for the last 6 months. She is over 12 now. I hope she is still healthy and with us next fall.

Waiting to hear back from the consult in Vegas. Frankly, surprised I haven't heard anything.
Turns out the new doctor I picked out is next door to the vet, so I might know more tomorrow.
Hemi and Cuda intro today....not so good.
You did a good thing... and got bit. I can contribute to a "fix the pup" fund.

Nope. One at a time.
But, by accident all of them together today. All in all it went pretty well. All the boys are VERY curious. Friendship will be on Mopar to decide.
Well it was up to Mopar to decide... and she made the wrong decision.
She has adored me from the first minute.... and bares fangs and growls at everybody else.
Shes smart, best leash walker I've ever had, follows me everywhere, even outside off leash. But if she feels neglected, she destroys stuff, including two doorknobs trying to get out (told you she was smart).
The gf, and the boys, say she has to go.
I called her previous "owner" and he made it clear he doesn't want her back. We are searching for a no-kill shelter, or shepherd rescue for her. I have a feeling it will be difficult.

Sometimes it takes awhile for them to get settled in. Her life has been turned upside down plus she has medical stuff going on. It may take some time before she realizes she's safe. We've had issues like that before with our broods. Fitting in doesn't always happen overnight.

Sorry to hear this. If I wasn’t a few thousand miles away I’d take her. If it’s any help it took about a month or two for Cora to settle in. She went from wanting to fight every dog and kill everything else to being the sweetest dog ever. It just took awhile for her to feel secure and safe.
Regardless, you tried and went above and beyond. I wish you all the best.

This my latest rescue pure mutt, Mocha. Smart Dog.
This is her for the first time at a very nice large Dog Park in Orlando with a lake.
On this day there must have been 50? other dogs having a blast.
Somehow my dog found a crevice in the perimeter to escape.
She didn't go anywhere; I think she was just showing off.
In the multi acre park, I decided to take a rest and just sit and watch all the dogs play and interact.
I sat down by myself on a log near the center, minding my own business.
I'm not a small guy, and after a few minutes I glanced to my left, and there sitting on his butt right next to me calmly watching the show is a solo St Benard joining me watching the free far all, he was nearly as big as me.

Birds of feather flock together applies to dog parks?
