DOGS

Playing keep away on the concrete is an every evening activity with our adult female doberman. Tonight she slipped, gave out a quick whimper as she did the splits with all four paws stretching out to the four corners as her belly hit the ground.

When she stayed there and didn't move a muscle, I thought she had injured herself in a grave manner. I helped her up and she trotted off so I guess she's OK. I didn't get a photo but I uploaded one I found on the internet that more or less depicts her posture after falling. I never saw her fall/trip/slide that way before.

I think it's funny, not that your dog fell, but they actually seem to get embarrassed.
 
This is my guy Big Earl. We had to put him down this summer. He was with us for 12 years, which is pretty long for a boxer.View attachment 1028537

Yes, I've had a lot of dogs, but none like him Been tough to get over.

it took Rebel a few minutes to warm up to Santa........at first I thought he was going to cry :rolleyes:
