I just thought the masses might want to know how to get a 1050 Dominator to calm down on the rough idle. Been doing some reading and found if you change the Idle air bleeds to larger ones it will actually Idle decent. My engine was running very rich at idle and the air bleeds from the factory where #53's .I changed them to #57's and WOW what a difference in idle! The engine now runs really smooth at idle and up into the high rpms.
just my 2 cents worth:icon_fU:

About 15 years ago I had a dominator on my street car, it was probably the best behaved and most responsive carbs ive ever had. Maybe the guy who tuned it knew what you know!

If you are driving around on the street and foot brake racing a 8082 two circuit is the one to have. The three circuit dominators have an extra fuel circuit for transbrake type applications. I have used a 8082-2 on the street and it worked out nicely.

Mine is a 3 circuit # bla-bla-bla.. sorry I dont know the number off the top of my head. But yea its really responsive and a smooth idle. I'm thinking I'll ajust the intermediate circuit air bleeds to see if that has any effects on it.
