Don's 1969 Charger Restoration

Next on the list is to work on the floor pans.
The 1st thing I have to do is patch the rear seat pan.

Then transfer the patch to a piece of sheet metal

then bend the wing (black line)

Then I put an offset in the sheet metal (were the black line is) just like the original

Say can someone take a picture of the bracket that attaches the back seat cris-cross supports to the floor? I cant seem to find mine!
Here is an example of the area I need. close-up pics will help as I may have to make one???

No, right at the top. That is the passenger side with the tape on it, right at the top edge of the bracket. From the over axle pan straight out to back side of seat brace.
 
LOL.. probably about the same but here is where i measured... Probably right around 2 5/8 when it comes right down to it.

Back to the floors.....
The pans fit great!

Next I transferred the edge of the frame rails to the pan so I could drill the holes for plug welding.

Then I applied the weld thru primer
