Hey everyone, I just got a dual snorkel air cleaner with the oval snorkels (not round) for my Coronet and am trying to figure out what it's from. I've done a lot of research on it and so far I'm thinking it's for a '67 GTX. There is no nipple on it to connect to the breather cap and the base is for the smaller diameter AFB carb. Can anyone tell me for certain?

1967 440 4-Barrel. Used in the GTX, Coronet R/T and Charger. Not sure if it was used in other models or on the 383. Most likely this is for B-bodies only. Looks like '68-9 version except for different indent in front for A/C clearance. Cars with cleaner air package (CAP) had nipple on left snorkel to connect to breather cap.

NOTE: There are two different air cleaners in this style, one is taller than the other and uses a different base. See the photos below. They both use the same air filter element. Not sure yet what the exact application is but it appears that the B-body cars used the shorter one. If anyone has an explanation, please let me know.
