Ill be on the line of totality in my back yard. By the way I worked on the above stated project for 2 days. Thats the longest they would let anybody work on it for security reasons. I got to run all the red wires.
Just think of the cooling effect it will have on the planet.
Is there plans on tossing virgins into volcanoes?
Will the Nile run red?

Really? Works good on mine. A few hurdles I ran into: I had to adjust the piece of tape covering the unused sensor a couple times, had to get it outside in the sun before it would darken, & had to find a remote that used a constant modulating IR signal not just a short burst.
I just saw a report. They were at the Grand Tetons National Park. The commentator says we're going to watch the shadow go up the side of the mountain behind us. Well that didn't happen, got dark then light again. He states that there is an eerie silence. Duh it wasn't supposed to make any noise!
Here near Sacramento, the sky just looked like filtered sunlight. It was like how it is when there have been forest fires with smoke in the sky. I did look up with welding googles and sunglasses, just for brief moments. I don't want to seem like an *** but I am amazed at the hype surrounding this. I recall another eclipse about 5-6 years ago that seemed about the same but with less fanfare.
We were supposed to have 97% here. I was driving and never knew it even happened lol. I thought a cloud went over the sun. About the same effect. Glad I didn't waste my time with it.
