I've been searching a bunch of forums and have even called Edelbrock Tech Support. My question is will the stock big block HP exhaust manifolds work with the Edelbrock 75 cc angle plug heads? I am concerned with plug and plug wire boot fitment. Is anyone out there running this combination?

Thanks!!

No problem.
I have the Summit wires with all straight boots really tight on passenger side but they work flawlessly.

I would say they should fit fine. I have the e street heads on my 383 with headers and the angled plugs provide much more clearance.

They are a bolt on replacement.
But you really should get the ARP bolts with washers or the bolts will carve up the aluminum.

Probably the reason mopar made the rpm copies with straight plugs

I actually have the ported RPMs closed chamber in 84cc, angle plugs
& ported 68 HP CI manifolds, into TTI 3" head pipes

'Shorty' Header plugs (like Accel Shorty plugs) give a bit more room too
the passenger side is tight on #8 plug & the manifold collector
the rest really aren't an issue, at all & the drivers side has tons of room

on my 68 RR

Anyways been running the 5090 E Street with Factory 71 HP Exhaust Manifolds for about seven years now on my 383/432

NGK BKR 6E Spark Plugs

Only issue - #5 and #7 Spark Plug Boots get really close on the end

Pertronix Ceramic 90 Degree Boots installed on my plug wires on those two cylinders only
