Hi guys, Got this kit because my 318 stock motor seems to be running awfully rich. The rods in currently are stamped 1047 and the jets both primary and secondary are stamped 120-400. Problem is, I cant figure which rods and jets to install in place of the current ones. Got the carb. on Ebay, so who knows if what its in it is right. Also I dont know what springs to change to, if any.

Go to Edelbrock's site and view the carburetor video. They also have all the specs on there for jets and metering rods that were originally in your carb and great trouble shooting advice.

Somewhere here I just posted a link to the Edelbrock site that has the manual with all the calibration info. I think it was under the Carter 3705 jetting thread or perhaps hemi carb jetting. I'll see if I can find it.
