Engine builder recommendations RB Stroker 6bbl

I cleared my inbox but if you are balking at 10k from Ritchie when its probably 8500 just in hard parts, then we should reconsider my machinist.

No balking!! I'm very happy with that ballpark! That is 2-3k LESS than other quotes! Ritchie hasn't given me a hard quote. There are a couple of specific vendors/manufacturers I want: Eagle forged H-beam rods and crankshaft, both with their ESP Armor treatment. This specific cap and girdle kit:

I am providing my Chrysler/Edelbrock aluminum 6bbl intake and Holley carbs, and fabricated aluminum valve covers, 1&7/8" primary sized TTi headers, and Hi-torque starter. I'm "fogging" and wrapping the rest to put aside as a backup if I ever need one.

I didn't know that ! but he's not alone as we are packing it up very soon as well, this was our last winter going 12 hours a day/6 days a week just trying to keep up, and that was being already "semi"-retired !
A Guy gets to an age(60's) when no amount of money being offered is worth cancelling even a darn Camping trip, or fishing, having that 2nd or 3rd beer because gotta get an early start, or even being able to drive your own dam Car on a Saturday ?
I have 6 more to Machine/Build & Dyno and after that strictly my own projects...... when I feel like it !

Should be a pretty straight forward build. I think finding a builder that wants to doink around with the six pack as well as build your engine will be your challenge. Also keep in mind that on the dyno you're tuning for WOT. The six barrel will still need some drivability Tuning once it’s in the car. You may be better off having a “carb” guy set up the carbs and tune the motor while it’s on the dyno instead of looking for an all in one package. It’s very common for guys to bring their own carb tuners in for dyno sessions.

You may want to look into some of the guys that build motors for the fast class

I can put you in touch with an engine builder based out of california that can build what you are looking for, dyno it, shrink wrap it and send it to you. He does all of my machine work and his daughter does my heads. They used to run Mopars engines west but have retired and do this out of their personal shops.

Be advised that this one off personal attention from any shop is not cheap nor budget friendly.

Bill Atwood builds and races many stock appearing 6 packs and Hemis in FAST and SuperCar. Real nice guy too. If your in the north east this is a good guy to know.

10k for a nice built stroker is good deal. I built my 493 myself and I can tell you I got a good 8k in all the parts when I include $700 dollar headers and over $600 for the rest of the TTI exh system. That also includes some block machine work along with the stroker 4.15 kit and the Indy EZ heads which I got a good deal with the cam and Indy dual plane intake. My 493 runs and races fine on 92 pump as I have never had race gas in it and never uncapped it as I drive it to the track. Never dyno'd but its a great driving street car I drive alot and has hit 10.70's on good days. Its a solid flat tappet cam and I use the Indy dual plane intake with an 850 DP. I built the eng at 10.6 comp with nice .045 quench so no spark knock at all. Its in my 63 Sport Fury that weighs 3700 lbs without me. Good luck with your build. Ron

I don't know about builders/tuners being over here Bio and not sure if the 540 is still on the cards? or what size your going for now.....but I'm sure you've seen what TF did with their [email protected]:1 with their hyd.roller TF intake and 950 carb which you better in theory, 620hp with 1.7/8" hdrs.
