Engine knock

[1967 satellite]

Just a few days ago this started. I'm not sure what it is. Can anyone help out. The engine has about 10,000 miles on it. Only use valvoline racing oil. Changed every year with about 1000-1500 miles. Someone said it was exhaust gasket keak. The funny thing is it seems to stop at higher RPM's or it might be my hearing. Any suggestions appreciated.

Check all the bolts. Flexplate, balancer, pullies, etc.

Yes it can be an exhaust leak, headers or manifolds?

flexplate bolts will sound EXACTLY like a knock.. have seen guys freak out.. then tighten the bolts check them first... exhaust leak and sound more like tick than knock but still.... posting a video would help
