what size would a 440 bored 60 over equal?

about 452. Boring should only be done if necessary and not to acquire cubes. If you want more cubes, stroke it.

Cubic Inch Formula is bore diameter (Inches) X bore diameter (Inches) X # of cylinders X length of stroke (Inches) X .7584 = total cubic inches example a 440 is 4.32" & 3.75" stroke & 8 cylinders, std bore 4.32" so a 0.060" over would be 4.380" bore X 4.380" X 3.75" stroke X 8 cylinders X .7854 = 452.02283 cubic inches.... Happy Big Block Moparing...

4.35 * 4.35 * 8 * 4.15 * .7584 = 476 ci? how does that work with a supposed 493 .030 over? 476 is what your formula comes out to? that would be under what it's supposed to be.

his formula bore x bore x stroke x number of cyl x pie squared is correct.

Ah I found the problem with your formula....took me a minute, it's .7854 not .7584...but it works.....had me getting heated thinking I got ripped off! lol
