hey guys,
does anyone know if 63 plymouths also had bodycolor-overspray on the undercarriage? I know that cars were factory dipped/painted in a greyish primer, and after the car was painted bodycolor, the undercarriage would be partially painted/oversprayed, but the most of the undercarriage would still be in the greyish primer.
I am in the process of getting my savoy painted, and i want to do it as correct as possible ( with my finances that is )

thanks!!
Marcel

my 64 savoy with original white ww1 paint undercarriage was mostly white but had gray primer mostly in the trans tunnel and feathered out lightly with gray, everywhere else was white.

4, don't forget this....black overspray on '63, B Body behind grill. on radiator brace.............. It has 50,800 orig miles. good point of referance.

nice job, Sonny.
