Thanks Fella's! Luvin it! No issues with the PoPo's as of yet, but good to know you guys got the fun tickets to get me out of the clink. Can't wait for you other guys bringing your cars back from the dead to get them on the road so you can get the same thrill's of putting rubber to road. Heck of a feeling, wish it would last forever. Born too late to see these cars roll off the floor new, but still glad to be able to live in a time where we can bring them back and still respect & enjoy them just as much. Enjoying every second of driving the bird, but already starting to get that resto/resurrection itch!

And yes........down with the trailer queens!!! Drive it like you stole it!!! That's what they were built for...

Will, what ever came out on that '47 or '49 you were looking at that was in probate or something?

AMEN! Its what I intend to do with mine when done. For the life of me I cannot figure out what is going through a guy's head when he builds a car and then only drives it into and out of the trailer. Why!? If you want art buy a picture...leave the car's for those of us who want to enjoy them. Or just preserve it in your garage til you die and then I'll come pick it up.

If you want art buy a picture...

Hehehehehe.......That's funny right there.

Roger,

That old Plymouth found a different home. Not going to mention people or places , but the person that had the car ended up getting dollar bill signs in their eyes, and wound up selling it to someone out of state for a lot more than what I was told for a selling price. Ticked me off a bit, but I got better things to worry about.

Well, I've been away most of the summer and I'm trying to get caught up with all these projects. What a beautiful gem you have made out of a rock! Love the sound of the exhaust too. Congrats and you really have something to be proud of.

Im sorry to hear of the Plymouth deal getting shot down Will, Ive wondered myself a few times what happened there but thought maybe with the Runner almost done you had everything on hold, ill bet whatever the next one may be it will replace what could have been with the Plymouth nicely!
I cant see you behind bars myself, i have a pretty good feeling that isint going to happen but i did tell Sue to keep our check book handy lol, The very first problem the POlice would have is catching ya ROFL.. All that work has turned out one beauty of what sounds like a true monster, i wont say i hope you are havin fun, i think i have the answer!

You can bet your @$& I'm planning on driving the wheels off my car, laying allot of rubber and best of all getting really sideways. I'll likely be getting myself into trouble but it will be damn fun doing it. What I look forward to most is taking my kids cruising and seeing they're eyes the first time I mash it (they think our 5.7 Aspen is fast) "Oooh" I can't wait

Too bad about the old Plymouth Will. Oh well, if it was meant to be yours, it would have come home with you. Just means you have more time to "play" with Skeletor. Enjoy for the summer, then when winter comes around, you can always find another toy to work on. Maybe an old dodge p/u or another old car will come your way.

Will I'm feeling kinda funny .. I think it may be withdrawals. Can you help?

Thanks Roger. I agree, wasn't meant to be I guess. Not sweating it. Like you said, more time to enjoy the bird.

Look at it this way Will, You've got a few great cars. Enjoy them. Somehow, somewhere in the future, you'll get a new project. It'll show up probably when you least expect it, but it will show up. You'll know it's the one.

Nah! It's a Mopar thing. It seems that however
bad they are, you want to save them. I've got some friends that are Ford or Chevy guys, and they look at us Mopar guys and say WTF! They appreciate what we go through but on one hand they wonder why?

I think you're right, we're half nuts. On that note, one thing can be said about Mopar guys; we stick together. Old Ma mopar wasn't pumping out some of the insane car production numbers that several of the other big "2" were. So it's not like you can pluck these cars up like low hanging fruit nowadays. And we sure don't have the same bountiful RMFG or aftermarket parts available as he other guys and some of their model's. So what do we do...........rely on each other for parts, sources and information. Take cars that would be considered long gone and put'em back on the road and continue to fuel our addiction until the last Mopar is left standing. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way.

We need VIDEO!!! Engine noises, screeching tires, smoke for a city block and maybe red and blue flashing lights that can never catch you.
:happy1::3gears::happy1:

Think I need to get you or another FBBO member, and camera crew up here to put a vid in production. I can't seem to get the wife to partake in making such a vid. Last time she rode in the bird and I gave the plymouth a flick of the peddle, all I got was "you're sooo such a boy" and a shake of the head. And how did I react? Appropriately of course......Hit the gas even harder..lol She really does love the car, just not a huge fan of what she calls "riding the slingshot". I do have a buddy coming over this weekend for some beers and lies. Don't think i'll have to twist his arm too bad to take the bird out on a couple country roads to strut her stuff.

:laughing6::laughing6::laughing6: we were at a friends car show at his place once, and we had a burnout contest. I took my shot, and failed. had the wife with me. she said "if you're gonna do it, then do it right!" took another shot and did great.
