Very nice prop, very nice indeed. Very tough for many to follow through on a big project, some simply get overwhelmed and for some.... money and time become the big factors so I salute you on a job extremely well done and a huge congratulations. Now go have lots of fun and be careful with the go pedal.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Appreciate the very kind words Robert. As you personally know, it's a long row to hoe to build these things. Kinda feels like having a second job that you have to pay in to instead of the other way around. LOL It's gonna be great to see your beast of a Dodge make'r to the pavement as well. Anyways, thanks again and I think it's time to go pop open that garage door and drop $30 bucks in gas to grab a loaf a bread a couple towns away. Have a good one!

Well fella's........Heading north to go check out another Mopar tomorrow. Not a B-body, but I think the wife needs something to tool around in, and her and this car's chassis are a bit more proportional vs. the wicked witch of the north sitting out in the garage. Hope it goes well......been going nuts not having something to work on.

LOL, that didn't take long at all....hahahahaha Well I hope you post the restoration up on here anyway :)

few of those out here and a guy down the road loves them too

That looks like it's gonna be a sweet little ride for the Mrs Will. What's the plan 340, 4 speed or 727, mod top and interior? Hope you keep it here in the FBBO family. I've always wanted to have a nice little 4 speed A body personally and would to see your resto of this one, whatever it is here.

You sure aren't sitting idle too long Prop. I agree if you make the purchase, the restoration needs to be documented on this site. Maybe an A-body resto would be ok with the mods. since you have a couple of B's in your garage already. I can almost guess the first question. "Well guys', what color do you guys think I should paint it?" lol

LOL... Prop/Will, Most darn women, wives or girlfriend's, they just don't get it & if you have to explain it to them, why it makes you so damn happy, especially while hitting the skinny little loud peddle & they probably never will "get it" either... some non-car guys too... we're all just little boys at heart, just with more income...LOL...

yeah :iamwithstupid: some day I want a 68 GTS 383 4 speed, kind of like a mini RR

That sure didn't take you long Will. If you do get it, you can put my "shirt" on the seat. Oh wait, I want to be invited up there sometime. ROFL LMAO.

That will make the wife a great ride Will! ABC or E body's, it all spells fun and Mopar, kind of the same thing, all equaling quality.. Looks pretty cool to! Good luck....

Concur. I had a 68 small block barracuda I was wanting to fix up for the wife back in about 96' but she had no interest. Now I'm pretty sure she would love it. Too late to find a deal like that again and man that was a sweet, straight, rust free San Antonio car.

I wish this was FM0 (for Mopars only) I agree, keep it hear. Your a lucky man to have a wife that would even consider a cool car like that. Good luck

Prop/Will show the restoration here for sure, I know I will watch it, keep tabs on your progress, I Love the book you've wrote already on the 69 RR, I can't wait for the sequel to it....

The 69 Dart Swinger

Hey thanks for the feedback fella's. Well, I guess I should be weary of what I wish for. I was whining about needing to work on something and my truck took care of that department for me today. Out of nowhere it started grumbling out of the left wheel after hitting bumps and taking right turns. Bad wheel hub/bearings, left front wheel. So, trip got postponed till tomorrow. Tore the truck apart and got it fixed. Sure glad to have an air chisel! Hub was unbelievably rusted/stuck in the hub mount bracket, but after some serious crash, smash and banging she came out.

Anyways, heading up to check out the Dodge tomorrow. If all goes well I'd hope to be able to post the work on the Dart over here. Don't know if it would tick anyone off, but you know what.....I'm at home here at FBBO. I'm sure there's a lot of good guys over at FABO, and i'm sure i'll be picking their brains from time to time, but if I get the car you'll be seeing Mr. Dart over here.

Plans...Well, I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch so I haven't got too overboard with ideas thus far. I sure don't want to build the same sort of street monster that Ol' Skeletor came to life to be. Plan would be a car that had some better manners for the wife. The Plymouth and I get along great, but the bird could easily get away from wife in a hurry. I'd like to go with a little bit of a warmed up 340, 4SPD, P/B, P/S 3.23's in the rear....Color, Yes Elk......The biggest question with any restoration! LOL...maybe a nice silver with a black stripe around the rear. Magnum 500's on some BFG's. GTS hood. I guess I should consider myself a lucky man 747. She's on board and was already inquiring what she would name him. Funny, guess i'll have a male Mopar in the garage if I end up picking "him" up.

Still have that shirt Roger. Only reason being is the wife hasn't found it yet! LOL Just lost two more last week. Ah well, I usually just buy the 3-4 dollar plain jane fruit of the loom pocket t-Shirts. No bells or whistle's and they usually keep up with me for a year or two.

Barracuda sounds nice tallhair. Getting tougher and tougher to find those (especially a nice solid one). Hopefully down the road, you'll find a nice A-Body to fill its shoes.

Well guys, I'll give you a full report tomorrow. The guy has several other mopars as well as some other GM's and Ford's. I'll snap some pic's!

Well...........Bottom's up! LOL

Good idea on the thread. We'll call it a sequel or maybe just consider the Dart a mini B-Body.

Hey Will, Great minds think alike. As you know, I finished the Chicken at the end of Jan. Somewhere around the first week of May , a car shows up here on a trailer from Indiana. My wife says , "what is that? " . I say, oh honey that one is for You . It's an automatic. She replies. Oh ok dear, I was just wondering.:female:
