My buddy and I used to go see this guy around this time of year. Great small club venue in Oakland and one time I met him after the show and he told a great story of how you never know what you want to do in life. He wanted to be a school teacher but his teacher told him to just play the piano and to not pay attention to what the other kids were saying.
