FBBO Tent at Carlisle this Year ?

Awesome. The festivities are open for all.

And, if you or someone else wants to suggest anything different, please go ahead. I am not trying to hog the event planning - I just threw out some ideas and I am happy to adjust based on others' suggestions.

Bryan, I have no ideal on when you plan on getting to the grounds, but I can only suggest that if you have plans to put a trailer in your spot, you need to be there by mid day on Thursday. Way too many people and the spaces are very tight to put a trailer in unless you have multiple spaces where you can drive through your spot to drop a trailer. Not all spaces are the same depth. Some are close to 25 while others are a good 30 feet.

Thanks a lot Richard. I will be there on Thursday early. My son will be showing up later in the evening on Thursday, (cannot get the day off from work) so we will just have to unload the car and take trailer back to Hanover that nite. My hopes are maybe won't need to return with it! lol.

We are down to the last weekend prior to the Carlisle show, so if there are any updates for the listing of members attending the show, please let me know. I am planning on leaving for Carlisle on Sunday evening and should hopefully be on my spots by Monday afternoon. Once I leave on Sunday, I will have limited availability to update or to post concerning the event.

I am about to be leaving here soon heading to Carlisle and hope to be there by Monday mid afternoon. So from here on out, I will have limited availability. But thanks for everyone's input and suggestions on this adventure. Hopefully everyone can take something away from the experience and as mentioned above, you make it what you want out of it.

During the week, I will be almost always at our swap spaces, so stop by and introduce yourself. Also, plenty areas of shade and water to refresh yourself.

Everyone be safe to and from the event and take care of each other out there.

Just a reminder for folks going to Carlisle. Here are loose plans for Friday and Saturday:

Friday:

• 9:00 to 9:30AM: I will be at the tent to say hi to members. If any members want to tag along as I walk the parts areas, you are welcome to join me.
• 12:00 to 1:00PM: I will be at the tent for an informal lunch meet up. I will plan to get my food on the grounds and then be at the tent at noon.
• 6:00PM: Meet at the tent to discuss any interest in dinner plans?

Saturday:

• 9:00 to 9:30AM: I will be at the tent to say hi to members. If any members want to tag along as I walk the car display areas, you are welcome to join me.
  
• 12:00 to 1:00PM: I will be at the tent for an informal lunch meet up. I will plan to get my food on the grounds and then be at the tent at noon. Perhaps after lunch we do a tour of members' cars???

Hope to see all FBBO members coming to Carlisle! The FBBO tent is located in the Red Show Field in Spots IG 43-44, under the designation of the letter N.

Add one more to the List, I will have the people at the registration table/ trailer add me to the FBBO list. I am glad to see someone get the ball rolling, I tried back in 2011 and there was not any expressed interest, hopefully this will be easier every year going forward. I will be rolling up tomorrow afternoon, and will spend most of the day Thursday strolling the Swap Meet, looking for the Early Bird specials then make way to the Expo Center for the Kickoff Cruise In. I've been a regular at the Fairgrounds for the past 20 years or so and have been going in on Thursday, with my pre-registered car, and have never been asked to pay extra for Thursday. The Kickoff Cruise in is always a good time and well organized by the Mopar Rebellion Car Club. I will try to stop in at the tent sometime Friday and Saturday, as it is very close to R127 where my '67 Belvedere will be parked. Hope to meet up with some of you at the hotel parking lot, we are always out too late, and will probably be the ones looking like they are having too much fun! Safe Travels…...

We have 12 chairs coming so that's only 2 per table so plan on bringing one or two chairs.
