You're a perfectionist let it go
sick of it too...... just watch how I throw my pos together

You're a perfectionist let it go
I suppose your database up there can enter non existent/imaginary Vin numbers too... lol I would expect that you would at least have to have a legit Vin plate. Georgia is pretty forgiving when it comes to cars with bills of sales. 25 years and back do not need titles but you do need a legit Vin plate.I can plate any car from some old farmers field , or another province no problem. They have computers, linked together, and if there's no red flags it's done.
We are ahead of you guys in some aspects.
Well it would have to be valid, but if there's no, " hey this was stolen" in the last 60 yrs then you can kind of assume it's good.I suppose your database up there can enter non existent/imaginary Vin numbers too... lol
Strange thing is, it was registered in British Columia previously and I registered it in my name now. They didn't even look at the car or the vin plate. If you have already purchased the car it might be a problem trying to get it registered with that fake vin plate. Id say most certainly will be an issue. Id be talking to who ever I bought it from. Or the police lol...
Thank you for that ifo. I have already registered it in my name so hopefully down the road it doesn't cause me any problems. My fender tag being for a Plymouth is useless for me too.Anyhow if your car is actually the car that that VIN belongs to here is the info..
Your decoded VIN information will be listed below.WP23H71249468
Make: W = Dodge Coronet / Charger Price Class: P = Premium Body Type: 23 = 2 Door Hardtop Engine: H = 383 325HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL Model Year: 7 = 1967 Assembly Plant: 1 = Lynch Road, MI, USA Sequence Number: 249468 = 149468th Vehicle
How long have you owned this car?Thank you for that ifo. I have already registered it in my name so hopefully down the road it doesn't cause me any problems. My fender tag being for a Plymouth is useless for me too.
Yep, previous owners registration slip, he signs the back over to you and you go and get a new one in your name. Done and done, easy as that. Now tags get removed for paint and go missing, hence the shitty redo.... BUT the fender tag makes ZERO sense.Strange thing is, it was registered in British Columia previously and I registered it in my name now. They didn't even look at the car or the vin plate.
Commonly referred to as self-tapping pan head Philips screw.should have a rounded off top phillips screw.
That first number was made by a Labelling machine using a thermal printing cartridge.
A monthHow long have you owned this car?
That made me start singing a Nickelback song in my head.I can plate any car from some old farmers field , or another province no problem. They have computers, linked together, and if there's no red flags it's done.

Oh great, now I'll have to be on vacationThat made me start singing a Nickelback song in my head.![]()
Any suggestions where I could get a better reproduction vin tag?Yep, previous owners registration slip, he signs the back over to you and you go and get a new one in your name. Done and done, easy as that. Now tags get removed for paint and go missing, hence the shitty redo.... BUT the fender tag makes ZERO sense.
Lose the fender tag, like many mopars out there, and at least make a better reproduction VIN tag for the door pillar and drive...
Google is your friend, I'll take the 5th after that....Any suggestions where I could get a better reproduction vin tag?
