Fiberglass Hemi hood scoop

Larry tried for over two weeks to contact you, no results.
Are you referring to me?
Larry replied to my post yesterday about one he has on eBay and others with different heights that he has available. I'm still deciding which scoop I want to go with when I decide to buy one I will contact them[/QUOTE]

Sorry, not you, I was referring to "glassman"/sled city glass from my attempt with him a few years ago, when I then went with AAR.

I've owned both AAR and Sled City over the years so I can only say this...
AAR once produced a nice sturdy quality scoop, then they joined up with Stinger. The last Stinger version scoop I had was a nice scoop on the show side, but cheaply built on the inside, and physically flimsy in terms of structural build quality and vehicle attachment. I couldn't get rid of that one fast enough. That was in 2012... Has AAR (Stinger) changed since then... I don't know, you tell me? I have pics of the poor quality P.O.S. that was shipped to me. Lets hope they've improved since then.
Sled city has always produced a structurally stout scoop, with a real sturdy mounting system which makes them all but impossible to rip off the hood.
There was a brief period a while back when Sled City was having issues filling their orders, that really soured a number of peoples trust in Sled City products.
As far as I know that's all in the past now however? I know a few folks who have purchased them within the last year or so with no issues.

My phone records all the incoming calls and I return all from 10am-10pm. Read on here that another company sells the "same" scoop much cheaper. Yep that's what you get. Cheaper. I replace a lot of other manufactures scoops with my warranty scoops.

Actually, you can give him your number but you need to do it in a PM (Conversation).....that is if you want to stay 'legal' :D Btw, members who are 'Golden' or are/have 'Gold Members' uh Gold membership can post their phone number in their 'advertisements'.......

Thanks,if you can give me your phone#,
I'll get back to you when ready to purchase

Well, sounds like you are finally making Quality Parts now. I base that on you're not arguing with members or customers anymore....was that positive enough for you....?
Much better. Now see, that wasn't so hard was it?

If that indeed is what you have been asked to pony up to become an Official Vendor here, then surely that can't be much compared to the business you would make out of the extra exposure.

When I say exposure, I mean more than simple extra sales figures - goodwill and 'word of mouth' is priceless here and our sister sites.

That sounds all good but if you notice, there are gaps of when I am on here. The reason I do get on here is that Friends email me through my AOL account and tell me that people are asking about my products. I then get on here and answer those questions. What I did not like was the fact that one of your people on here had at least 25 screen names and he was constantly degrading my products. He has been outed on here and a few other sites now. And, I had NEVER done business with him.

Glad to hear Sled City has been a viable, quality option lately. My AAR scoop & hood are about as stout as anything I can imagine. Hood/scoop (hinge type) is not lite, but sure is stout. FYI

We just made a really stout and heavier than usual hood for a 65 Coronet show car, and it will be hinged from the front with a custom tall Hemi scoop that will be over the cowell because of an engine setback. It was one one of those SEMA cars and it had a pin on hood from another manf. and one of those Chevy cowell scoops. New owner wants an electric operated Mopar style hood. It will be cool as hell.

Cranky, I actually tried to pm this person and the screen said that I was DENIED. I can't pm out or receive except from jeryco.

I would think that if a vendor has to shell out $600 a year for sponsorship, maybe it would be prudent to throw an arbitration clause in with the forum itself. I have seen way to much vendor bashing and I get the impression that the forum takes no liability.

Well, I guess you saw what happened......
