Flickering dash and exterior lights on 64 fury at idle.

I checked and cleaned all grounds, alternator seems to be charging fine,cleaned all connections
Etc. New voltage regulator.

old points style regulators have a tendency to do this. You may want to look inside and make sure points are clean and adjusted properly

Also check and clean all the bulkhead connections
