Any of you folks into O, HO, etc. gauge trains?
 
My 15x19 HO 1948 PRR layout has been on hiatus for almost a decade pending a double deck and helix project that I completely mis-planned. In order to get back "on track", I need to break through the wall, into the kitchen pantry for the helix transition at the bottom. Not "undoable" but will be painful.

The single deck version was completely operational and concept proofed before deciding to go double deck.
I was working on signaling.

Sigh.
