Thumbing through a box that has been hidden for 20 years or more while tidying up, and I rediscovered this Ferry brochure for the ride between Gedser in Denmark, and Rostock in Germany. I realise now why I kept it, as well as dozens of other leaflets. Check out those prices...I bet it costs a lot more now.

Lol, I have been to Rostock quite a few times for various parts of the project I am working on. Germans use the word farht quite a bit, much to my amusement. I was driving my car one day and I was on the phone to my insurance agent who has limited English. She said to me when signing off to "have a nice farht". I nearly had to pull the car over as I lost it. That was hilarious.

How to save your marriage in Germany, get her to sign off on your fartplan.

I had a similar experience while standing in a urinal in Vienna - underneath the castle grounds.... a large German standing next to me taking a whizz let out this enormous fart.
Impressed as I was, I simply said 'Good fart'
He replied immediately with 'Danke Schön'

 Dit ya say 'yo welcome' in 'Anglish'?

That must be an old one... NZ Dollar hasn't been worth more than the US Dollar since the '70's.
I found two ebay ads for it. One said it was from 1966 and the other said 1967.

That would be right going by the artwork. The image is very similar to the new decimal currency introduced in 67.
